There’s nothing like stepping away from the daily grind to relax, recharge, and reconnect with colleagues. Insightin Technology’s much-anticipated Annual Tour 2024 took us to the breathtaking destination of Cox’s Bazar—the world’s longest sea beach.

From November 15th to 18th, our team came together to enjoy four days of sand, sea, adventure, and camaraderie. Let’s take a journey through the highlights of this incredible trip!

Departure for Cox’s Bazar:

We all arrived at the Malibagh Shohagh bus counter on November 15th at night by 10pm. Our travel partner was the Shohagh Elite bus.

We had a reserved bus, so we left the bus on time. We left the bus for Cox’s Bazar from Malibagh at 11:30 pm.

In the middle of the night, the bus arrived in Comilla and we took a short break. We all had a light breakfast together and got back on the bus.

After a light sleep, at 7:30 AM, we reached Cox’s Bazar and checked in at Windy Terrace.

Day 1: The Excitement Begins

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our hotel partner, Windy Terrace, known for its top-notch hospitality and stunning views.

The excitement was palpable as we checked in, explored the hotel, and prepared for the days ahead.

After room checking everyone dives into the pool for refreshment.

After refreshing ourselves, everyone went to the famous restaurant Shalik in Cox’s Bazar to have lunch.

After eating delicious food at Shalikh, we went back to the hotel.

We started a friendly beach football match at 4:30 pm according to the tour plan. The football match started between the  Team Gold and the Team Tower.

Team Gold’s captain was our Senior Software Engineer, Mehedi Hasan Abir.

Team Tower’s captain was Senior Data Engineer, Jahedul Kader Forman.

The match lasted for a total of 40 minutes in 20-minute intervals.

After a lot of tough competition, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Later, we decided to arrange another match for the next day.

After the game, we went to the hotel and dived into the pool. In the evening, everyone wandered around the city and the beach on their own.

We had dinner in the same Shalik restaurant for a relaxed dinner and shared our excitement about the activities planned for the coming days.

After dinner, many of us go to the beach and enjoy the evening.

Day 2: Thrills and Team Spirit

The second day began with a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel, energizing us for a fun-filled day.

The morning’s highlight was an exhilarating beach football match that was tied yesterday. Unfortunately, In the end, the match once again resulted in a tie. In a celebratory twist, the referee crowned both teams as champions, symbolizing the unity and spirit of teamwork that defines Insightin Technology. 🏆

After the game, we dove into the sea, embracing the waves and letting loose in the refreshing waters.

The joy and laughter were contagious as we created memories that would last a lifetime.

For lunch, we visited the renowned Palanki Restaurant, famous for its mouthwatering seafood dishes.

From succulent prawns to flavorful fish curries, every bite was a treat, and the team thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

Post-lunch, we embarked on a scenic drive along the Marine Drive road, one of the most picturesque routes in the region.

The journey offered stunning views of the coastline and lush greenery, and we wrapped up the day by witnessing a mesmerizing sunset at the beach.

Watching the sun dip below the horizon was a magical moment for us.

Day 3: Adventure and Bonding

Day 3 was packed with activities that strengthened team bonds and created unforgettable memories. The day kicked off with another delightful buffet breakfast. This time, both teams played with even more intensity and enthusiasm.

The next stop on our itinerary was a picturesque location along the Marine Drive road, where we held two key events: a “Team Building” activity and a “Raffle Draw“.

The team-building exercises brought everyone closer, fostering collaboration and trust, while the raffle draw added an element of excitement and surprise.

The energy and enthusiasm during these events were unmatched.

Afterward, we headed to Al-Gani Restaurant for lunch.

The dishes were spectacular, and the team enjoyed every bite, making it another meal to remember.

The afternoon brought the ultimate adventure—parasailing! Flying high above the sea, we experienced the thrill of soaring through the sky while taking in breathtaking views of Cox’s Bazar’s coastline. The exhilaration and joy were evident on everyone’s faces as we embraced this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

As the day ended, we returned to the hotel, reflecting on our shared incredible moments. At 9 pm, We headed to Poushi restaurant for dinner.

Poushi is renowned for its tasty dishes. Our team enjoyed every bite here.

Day 3 perfectly blended adventure, bonding, and pure joy.

Day 4: Farewell to Cox’s Bazar

All good things must come to an end, and our final day in Cox’s Bazar was bittersweet. Breakfast was served from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, giving everyone ample time to pack and prepare for checkout. By 10:30 AM, we were on the bus, bidding farewell to the beautiful beaches and heading back to Dhaka.

Our journey included a stop in Chittagong for lunch at the renowned Kutum Bari Hotel. The highlight of the meal was the famous Mezban dish, a traditional delicacy that delighted our taste buds and left us craving more.

Refreshed and satisfied, we resumed our journey, reminiscing a few days and sharing our favorite moments. We arrived in Dhaka at 11:30 PM, concluding our annual tour with hearts full of gratitude and memories to cherish forever.

Their efforts ensured that every detail was taken care of, allowing the entire team to relax and enjoy to the fullest.
